｜學生議會是什麼？｜
學生議會為學生會的立法機關，代表學生行使立法權。學生議會裡有24位學生議員，任期為二年，連選得連任，採任期交錯制，每會期輪流退休 6 人；學生議員出缺時，其繼任學生議員任期，至原議員任滿為止。在學生議會的組織架構當中，學生議員將會互選產生「行政中心執行長」，以及由議長所兼任的學生會主席。且學生議員的任期會相互交錯，以確保組織內部成員可以有效傳承任務與經驗。
｜學生議員需要做什麼？｜
學生議員是學生議會的成員，由同學們直選產生。學生議會有兩個面向：
1. 作為學生會的立法權代表，議會負責對行政中心行使監督權。在行政中心提出預算、舉辦活動時，議員們會負責審理預算，並對執行過程進行監督。
2. 議會也作為向校方各級會議推派會議學生代表的機構，負責出列席各項會議，向學校反映各項意見。
｜本次選舉要選什麼？｜
〔選區與名額〕
1. 學生議員選舉：依據國立清華大學學生會組織章程第11、12條、國立清華大學選舉罷免法第10條。
經查第三十三屆第一任議員於原112學年度第2會期（112-2）第三選區仍有缺席 3 人、第四選區仍有缺額 4 人。原112學年度第2會期（112-2）第二選區簡宏偉學生議員已畢業失去學籍，故該選區缺席 1 人。
因此，本次選區及名額如下：
第一選區：1名（任期至113-2）
第二選區：3名（任期至114-1）
第三選區：4名（任期至114-2）
第四選區：6名（任期至115-1）

2. 學生議會議長選舉：由當選之學生議員互選產生，學生議員候選人可在登記時註明「有無參選學生議會議長之意願」，而當選之結果將由本會公告。
〔資格與義務〕
依據國立清華大學選舉罷免法第六、七、八、九條。
選舉人資格：凡擁有本校學籍之學生皆有選舉權。
候選人資格：擁有本校學籍之學生得依國立清華大學學生會選舉罷免法登記成為候選人。持雙重學籍者，應於登記參選時放棄其他學籍之參選機會。
候選人義務：申請登記候選人應繕具本會規定之表件，於規定時間內向本會辦理。若申請不合要式，本會得駁回並命其補正。 申請合於要式者，於選舉公報公布後不得撤回登記申請。
〔規劃選務及日程〕
｜登記參選｜2024年11月08日20時至2024年11月22日23時59分。
有意參選之候選人得於學生會發佈之表單登記，並附上學生證正反雙面之圖檔以及政見。
｜選舉公報公布｜2024年11月25日20時。
｜政見發表會｜訂於2024年11月27日20時，線上舉行。
｜投票日期｜2024年12月03日中午12時至12月05日中午12時，採線上投票。
｜開票公布｜2024年12月05日20時，於本會粉絲專頁公布選舉結果。
｜學生議會議長選舉會議｜於當選公告後一週內調查有選舉權之學生議員時間。原則上實體進行，待調查後視情況調整。

｜What is the Student Council?｜
The Student Council is the legislative body of the Student Association, representing students in exercising legislative power. The Student Council consists of 24 student councillors, each serving a two-year term, with the possibility of re-election. The terms are staggered, with 6 members retiring each session. When a student councillor’s position becomes vacant, the successor serves the remainder of the original term. Within the organizational structure of the Student Council, student councillors elect an “Executive Director of the Administrative Center” and the Student Association President, who also serves as the Speaker. The terms of the student representatives are staggered to ensure effective transfer of duties and experience among members.
｜What are the responsibilities of student councillors?｜
Student councillors are members of the Student Council elected directly by fellow students. The Student Council has two main responsibilities:
As representatives of the Student Union's legislative authority, the council oversees the Executive Center. When budgets are proposed or events are organized by the Executive Center, councillors are responsible for reviewing budgets and supervising the execution process.
The council also serves as the body that appoints student representatives to various levels of meetings with the school administration, responsible for attending these meetings and conveying student opinions.
｜What do student councillors do?｜
Student councillors are members of the Student Council, elected directly by their peers. The Student Council has two main functions:
As the legislative representative of the Student Association, the Council is responsible for supervising the Administrative Center. When the Administrative Center proposes budgets or organizes activities, the representatives review the budgets and supervise the execution process.
The Council also serves as the body that appoints student representatives to attend school meetings and convey students’ opinions to the school administration.
｜What will be elected in this election?｜
〔Electoral Districts and Quotas〕
Student Councilor Election: The Election is based on Articles 11 and 12 of the National Tsing Hua University Student Association Organizational Charter and Article 10 of the National Tsing Hua University Election and Recall Law.
Upon review, there are still 3 vacancies in the third electoral district and 4 vacancies in the fourth electoral district for the first term of the 33rd session during the second semester of the 112th academic year (112-2). In the second electoral district, Student Representative Jian Hongwei has graduated and lost student status, resulting in 1 vacancy.
Therefore, the electoral districts and vacancies for this election are as follows:
- First Electoral District: 1 position (term until 113-2)
- Second Electoral District: 3 positions (term until 114-1)
- Third Electoral District: 4 positions (term until 114-2)
- Fourth Electoral District: 6 positions (term until 115-1)

Student Council Speaker Election: The Speaker is chosen by the newly elected student councillors. Candidates for student representatives can indicate their willingness to run for Speaker during registration, and the election results will be announced by the Council.
〔Qualifications and Obligations〕
According to Articles 6, 7, 8, and 9 of the National Tsing Hua University Election and Recall Law:
Voter Qualifications: All students with official enrollment at the NTHU have the right to vote.
Candidate Qualifications: Students with official enrollment at the university may register as candidates according to the National Tsing Hua University Student Association Election and Recall Law. Students with dual enrollment must relinquish their candidacy rights from other institutions when registering.
Candidate Obligations: Candidates must submit the required forms as stipulated by the Association within the specified timeframe. The Association may reject applications and request corrections in case of imcompletion. Once the application is complete and published in the election bulletin, it cannot be withdrawn.
〔Election Planning and Schedule〕
- Candidate Registration: From November 8, 2024, at 20:00 to November 22, 2024, at 23:59. Interested candidates should register using the form provided by the Student Association, including a scanned copy of both sides of their student ID and their campaign platform.
- Election Bulletin Publication: November 25, 2024, at 20:00.
- Campaign Platform Presentation: Scheduled for November 27, 2024, at 20:00, to be held online.
- Voting Period: From December 3, 2024, at noon to December 5, 2024, at noon, conducted online.
- Vote Counting and Results Announcement: December 5, 2024, at 20:00. Results will be announced on the Association's Facebook page.
- Student Council Speaker Election Meeting: Within one week after the announcement of the election results, the availability of eligible student representatives will be surveyed. The meeting will primarily be held in person, with adjustments made as necessary based on the survey.
